Chulalongkorn University Scholarship, 2025-2026

Applications are currently being received for the 2025-2026 Chulalongkorn University Scholarship for International Students. The Chulalongkorn University graduate scholarship is fully funded and is open for students from all countries willing to study a master’s or PhD degree program at Chulalongkorn University.

This scholarship program to study in Asia is available for all international students to study in all graduate programs that are offered by the university. Candidates are not required to pay any application fee during the application process. This is a unique opportunity for candidates who wish to study and live in Thailand.

Founded in 1917, Chulalongkorn University (CU) is a public research university in Bangkok, Thailand. Member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), the university is supported by the Office of National Education Standards and Quality Assessment of Thailand. Chulalongkorn University is the best and oldest institute of higher education in Thailand. In 2017, the university ranked 245th in the world, 45th in Asia, and 1st in Thailand. The university is composed of nineteen faculties, a School of Agriculture, three colleges, ten institutes, and two other schools. CU Graduates students usually receive their diplomas from the King of Thailand, a tradition that began with King Prajadhipok (Rama VII).

Chulalongkorn University Scholarship Benefits

Selected candidates for this scholarship will receive the following benefits:

1. An economy class round-trip ticket to and from designated capital cities or principal cities as paid. Please note that for students from :
   • ASEAN Countries no more than 8,500 baht for one way;
   • ASIA Countries no more than 12,000 baht for one way;
   • Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Africa no more than 20,000 baht for one way;
   • NORTH and SOUTH AMERICA no more than 30,000 baht for one way.
2. Tuition Fees for the University (tuition fees for faculty/special fees by the program, and summer session are excluded : Advanced arrangement between the students and the Faculty/Program is needed.);
3. Stipend and accommodation in the amount of 16,000 baht/month;

Chulalongkorn University Scholarship Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship to study at the best university of Thailand, candidates must:

• be International Students (not holding Thai citizenship) from any Country. Faculty members, researchers, and academic staff who will return to teach/work at their home universities after graduation from Chulalongkorn University, are preferred;
• have completed a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in a field related to the field for which they are applying;
• have obtained a minimum grade point average of 2.75 for their undergraduate studies and a minimum of 3.25 for their graduate studies;
• not be over 40 years of age;
• be in Good Health;
• have a good command of the English language. A minimum TOEFL score of 500 or 173 computer-based or IELTS score of 5.0;
• Master’s degree applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a field that is related to the program they are applying for. A degree certificate and an official academic transcript must be submitted with their application;
• Ph.D. degree applicants must have completed a Master’s degree in a field that is related to the program they are applying for. A degree certificate and an official academic transcript must be submitted with their application;

3. Academic transcript issued by the last academic institution that the applicant attended
4. Certificate of Graduation (if available)
5. Photocopy of applicant’s passport
6. Two letters of recommendation from the Head, the Director or the Dean of the institution of the applicant’s affiliation or from the applicant’s superiors
7. Medical certificate confirming a physical examination in a hospital in the applicant’s home country.
